Calling a PDF from postscript code.

I have a piece of postscript that can call other postscript files to print.
However, I would like to know if anybody has successfully tried this before.
I don't know at this point if it's a limitation with printer's interpreter or it simply can't be done. When I try it the interpreter starts out OK then flushes the job as soon as it reads that the file is a PDF.

Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
