So far, our customers have stated they want the ability to import graphs (created with our graphics program, which include OpenType fonts), into third-party applications.

According to them, their 3rd-party apps require the Encapsulated Postscript format for import.

From that point on, their document may be sent to all types of printers including Non-Postscript printers.

Microsoft Publisher is only one app which will accept EPS for import and print to a non-Postscript printer (we do it all the time).

So, as I stated before, it just seems like too great a coincidence that all of these OpenType fonts with names containing spaces in them fail while all fonts with no spaces in the name succeed.

Can any EPS experts out there please confirm for us that the findfont command does not allow a font name specification to include spaces?

If so, then how do we embed the OpenType font in the file?

Please note our company is willing to hire an EPS-experienced programmer on a contract basis to tackle this task for us.

Thanks,

landon
