Gentlemen and Mesdames,

we had success in placing a text line on .ps pages for .ps files compiled under Adobe 4.0. We subsequently began to use .ps files compiled under Adobe 5.0. These new compiled forms do not work with the same code (No text line gets inserted). Barring the text being invisible because it's off the page, it seems that these new compiled forms do not behave in the same way as the old ones that worked with the code. Is there something new that we must consider for these new forms?

(Note: NumberOfPages of pages is a
        variable stub that I'll be
        replacing with something else,
        but the mechanics are the same)
