This is confounding.
I added initclip after initmatrix, and nothing.
Then, I proceeded to your next suggestion and changed the text color to a blue with the following code change:
/PrintLastPsOmr {.1 .1 moveto (LAST OMR
MARK GOES HERE) gsave initmatrix 1 0 0
0 setcmykcolor SetTheFont 270 rotate
show grestore} def')
and nothing.
I then added another "OmrShow" in the code to see if I was indeed hitting my showpage on every call:
/PrintLastPsOmr {.1 .1 moveto (LAST OMR
MARK GOES HERE) gsave initmatrix 1 0 0
0 setcmykcolor SetTheFont 270 rotate
show OmrShow grestore} def')
and I do get a blank page after every form, as expected.
Meanwhile, side-by-side within this same application my Adobe 4.0 compiled .ps files are correctly getting the inserted blue text, while my new Adobe 5.0 compiled .ps pages still do not respond. (I still suspect that the print is either going off the screen, or is being whited over, but I've tried changing the movetos and all sorts of things, and still nothing.
Well, got any other tricks up your sleeve?
Thanks,
and I sign myself
