Still stumped. Tried all the suggestions thus far, and still nothing. But the same file run through Adobe 4.0 distiller works fine. Run it through Adobe 5.0, and nothing. Below is the end of the one page file run through Adobe 5.0. Is this thing locking up any further printing right before it hits showpage?:
