Gents, some pdf files have a table of content and by clicking on a certain item Acrobat jumps to the appropriate page. How is this toc business done? Can you do this at PS level or during or after conversion to pdf? Could you just give me a first pointer? Thanks Miklos

Do you mean bookmarks (in a separate pane) or TOC pages (part of the PDF)? Aandi Inston

TOC pages are just regular pages. There's nothing automatic about them; it would be the task of the composition software to create them. pdfmark instructions can be used to create links in a PDF file, including on TOC pages. Aandi Inston

Thanks Aandi, I've found TN 5150 the pdfmark ref manual. I was curious about the toc, as bookmarks, just I wasn't familiar with the lingo. Things are working now ok. Thanks, Miklos
