How can I set page size to a non-standard size. 8.5x13
I tried

<< /DeferredMediaSelection true
   /PageSize [612 936]
      /MediaPosition 1
 >> setpagedevice

It does not seem to pull from correct tray. Asks for manual feed.

Any ideas.

This area is very printer specific. You should always start with the
PostScript Supplement for your printer if you can get it, or the PPD
file if you can't.

It's also possible that you haven't updated your InputAttributes to
say that there is a non-standard paper size installed. If the printer
doesn't know it is installed, it won't match a request.

Hi,

thats absolutely true. It has always to sides:
a) you query for a specific size
b) normally the printer "knows" of the sizes loaded into its trays
c) and your selection of a particular tray

a and c must go together or you should try to just refer to the
tray wihout specifiying a media size.
If the printer cannot be set to the requested size some of them
offer a "universal" size which is just the largest it is capable
of. You then would have to care for yourself, that the printed
area will fit onto the media.

Hope this helps a bit.
Best regards,
Peter
