Hi there, 

How do I convert a pdf into a bitmap ? 
Is this supported by Adobe and if so where do I go ?

This can't be done with PostScript programming. PostScript doesn't
understand PDF.  You can open a PDF in Acrobat and save as various
bitmap formats; also Photoshop.

Actually, you can save to a bitmap format directly from Acrobat 5!
