I need to download a line printer emulator to a PS Level 2 printer, the printer has no H. Disk or Falsh Rom. 
Can a line printer emulator be downloaded and execute for as long as the printer is on ? The printer is connected via TCP/IP from a AS/400 ?

I have 2 different line printer emulators which can be downloaded outside the server loop or included at the very beginning of the file to be spooled. 

The 1st one emulates a dumb line printer which only understands CR and LF (and TAB) characters as control characters. 

The 2nd one is tailored to interprete IBM's ASA print control characters (which are on the 1st position ov every line and control line spacing and page advance).
