I downloaded a .ps file from the web, and now I want to read it or print it. What program is available to do that? Where can I get a copy? (I tried Acrobat and Photo shop, but neither would do it). Thanks TG

If you are using windows you could try using ghostview <http://www.seas.ucla.edu/~ee5cta/ghostView/> but adobe acrobat reader should work fine. If both of these fail there must be something wrong with the postscript file. If you are using Linux try downloading gv

I suggest using PSAlter. This will allow you to step through the PS file and render it to screen. <http://www.quite.com/psalter/> What Peter says is almost right - you can distill the PostScript into PDF for viewing/printing using Acrobat Distiller - not Acrobat Reader. However, be aware of your Acrobat Distiller settings before you do this as you could compress quality out of the PostScript file. Good luck!!
