It should contain only all necessary things to work with design tools. Applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator etc would be integrated into this OS. System fonts would be Type1 and Postscript used to present vector-based grafic on display including GUI. I think it would increase performance by removing unnecessary for designers components and simplify cooperative work on Mac's and PC's if both will have the same OS with same GUI.

Sounds as if you are (kind of) describing Display PostScript, and perhaps NeXT, which was built on it. Long dead. Aandi Inston

I mean not this exactly. I mean that adobe apps like Photoshop would be not an application but OS environment. It would be very useful for design usage

Aandi NeXT is dead in name only. Apple computer purchased NeXT years ago and it has evolved into Mac OS X.
