Most of the printers I work with will use the setpagedevice to set the
page size, so for 100cm x 100xm (39.37in x 39.37in) ((That's a big sheet
for a Postscript printer)).

I used this method try again. But the page size did not change when I
opened it in Illustrator CS2. It was still A4.

You didn't mention Illustrator. Can you create a page the size you want
and see if there is a "%%" comment that Illustrator uses?

The Illustrator CS2 can not create a PS file. It can create a EPS
file. I created a EPS file, and found all "%%" comment. But didn't
find the command to change the page size. And then I looked for all
"100", but failed too.

Ok, I'm confused. The sample file is not an EPS file and EPS files do
not normally have a page size as they are intended to be clip art pasted
into something else that defines the page like Illustrator. What are you
using to print these files?

I must write a piece of program to create a simple PS file that
include ourselves defined graphic data. The Illustrator can not supply
this function without Illustrator SDK. But this SDK is difficult to
learn. So I learn the PS language. The PS file is opened and printed
by Illustrator, after it was created.

Sorry, I meant to say InDesign, not Illustrator. I don't use
Illustrator. Perhaps try posting the question on comp.lang.postscript.
