I want to be able to automate the process to change the internal %%title to a different file name( i.e. the current file name) on large number of eps files.

Ok.... what is the question?  This isn't a task that can be done in
PostScript programming, but can be done with external programs in a
suitable language, Unix utilities like sed, etc.
