Hi, I tryed to find a solution on a lot of tutorials or others tips on internet... My question is really simple : I want to create a new file with a lot of data of the original ps file (especially some currentpoints). So my fonction for checking the data is ok but i can not write on another file. It says to me that i have a problem of Invalidaccessfile. I'm working on a pc running with linux and mandrake for os, and the command ps2pdf... I've, of course give all the right to the file written... Can you help me ?

Hi Florian, This *invalidfileaccess* means a restriction inside the Ghostscript environment during the *ps2pdf* execution. Look the GS parameters '-dNOSAFER' and '-dSAFER' or the specific '.setsafe' GS/PS call. Or start the Ghostscript with -dNOSAFER, e voila! Hope this helps, ...
