If using the Windows printer driver, control trays through the API. If you are generating all the code you need to process PPD files. PPD files contain PostScript code fragments for printer control, since printer control is not portable. Aandi Inston

I'm using a Xerox Phaser 6200 color laser printer. It's connected to my Sony Vaio PCV-RZ30CG computer through USB 2.0. I'd like to write programs in Postscript 2 or 3. How can I do this? Richard Ozaroff

You want to create a program to choose the printer tray? Start with the PPD file, it contains the PostScript fragments you need. Aandi Inston
