Hello - I'm using an Apple LaserWriter Pro 630 on a Win98 system and PageMaker 7. I'd like to add the functionality of the 500 sheet paper tray to the PPD file but have NO idea how to do it. Anyone out there know? The printer has 32MB RAM and the 500 sheet paper tray added. The default LWPro630 PPD doesn't have the extra 500 sheet tray option enabled. I have run the "Ppd.exe" file trying to update the PPD, but I don't see any options for making this tray enabling update. It must be a code issue. Can anyone help me with this issue? Thanks in advance!

The PPD is supposed to have the optional features included in it - is it missing? Otherwise you have a problem. The PPD is the reference on what PostScript sequences to send to control the device. If you don't have the entry in the PPD, where to get the sequence - which is device dependent...? Aandi Inston
