A somewhat easier way to move the printhead on the 3000 to the left, away from the sponges is to run a print on tabloid paper, then, when the printhead is doing its thing on the far side of the page, unplug it! Once you've done your Windexing, plug the printer back in and the head will go home, protesting all the way. (It's a safe procedure, though.) John
