Thanks for the info. The activation thing was troubling me. I was under the impression that if I needed to re-install the software, I was going to have to pay them another $50.00 US. Not good considering I lease my computer and upgrade every two years.

I was up until nearly 2 am last night putting the demo through it's paces. Colour seems to be pretty accurate compared to an Iris proof. The image seems slightly "grainier" than I remember PressReady being. I could be wrong, I haven't used PressReady in over a year. Because my Epson 3000 sat for nearly a year I had a bear of a time getting things loosened up. I THOUGHT I had things totally clear, but I still have a few slight clogs with the cyan and the black. This of course creates a bit of banding in the mid tones. The overall colour also appears just slightly warmer than the Iris Proof.

I am on the fence right now on whether to fork out the cash. I did not notice the competitive upgrade from PressReady on their website, but that may just be the trick that helps me go for it.

In the end, I feel that the colour is pretty darn good. I wish it was photo quality however without the grain. I believe that the grain might just be a limitation of the printer itself.
