Sorry for the confusion. I am attempting to convert PS file to PDF.

I have two disk drives for my laptop. The small one uses Windows ME.

The larger drive contains Windows XP Pro (The only OS it has ever had). When I installed PressReady under XP I did install the WIN2000 Patch.

Now for the workflow:

I use Adobe Distiller Print Driver (PPD) to add features not available in "Create PDF Print Driver".

The Adobe Distiller PPD is set to Print to File to generate a "PS" type document.

After this is done I can successfully send the PostScript file to my HP-1220C using the "Adobe PressReady PrintPS 1.0" program found in PressReady Folder.

Problem: Using "Adobe PressReady PrintPS 1.0" program I cannot print to "Create Adobe PDF" Print Driver that came with PressReady. If I attempt to, I get the error that the Printer cannot be initialized.

Most PressReady users probably have never used "Adobe PressReady PrintPS 1.0" program which allows user to print a PostScript directly without having the application. I use this method to convert PS to PDF in Windows ME, but it doesn't work in XP (everything else does in PressReady).

I need to do things like Mirror the image or add watermark which I cannot do with the generic "Create Adobe PDF" Print Driver direct from application.

"Create Adobe PDF" works fine from Applications, but not when ran from "Adobe PressReady PrintPS 1.0".

Thanks for responding, any Ideas why this isn't working in an XP installation?
