Alright so I have a Bamboo graphics tablet that I am using to draw right into Adobe Illustrator. Whenever I try to draw two shapes that are touching, the first one I drew just disappears. Anyone know how to stop this from happening?

Nicholas,
Anyone know how to stop this from happening?
Start by asking in the Illustrator forum, <http://www.adobeforums.com/webx/.ee6b328/> or <http://www.adobeforums.com/webx/.ee6b324/>

I wonder if you had a "Fill" or a "Stroke" color applied when you started drawing? Other than that, beats me.

Hi This is not in the right forum but nvm. I think what is happening is you are using the pencil tool? With that tool you are able to adjust a line you have drawn while the line is active. What you have to do is make the line inactive before drawing the next line or Illustrator thinks you are trying to correct he first line. You can do that by clicking with the arrow tool outside the line. When you have the pencil tool selected, hold down "command" and your cursor changes to the last arrow tool you had active, click anywhere to deselect the line you drew first, let go of "command" and you have your pencil tool again. etc...

What you have to do is make the line inactive before drawing the next
line
This is done by double clicking on the paintbrush tool in the toolbox. Under the tool options, uncheck 'keep selected'.
baad, if the topic is dead for over a month and Nicholas never followed through with posting in the right forum, there is little reason to think he will benefit from further discussion here.
