Print driver crash

My application occasionally crashes the AdobePS Acrobat Distiller
version 5.2(31) print driver. It seems to be related to calling the Windows GDI SetTextCharacterExtra function.

Is this a known problem, and if so, has it been fixed in a later release of the print driver?

My environment is Windows 2000.
