WinXP Printer Driver Installation Utility does not use proper network printer name!

We use Adobe Universal PS Printer Driver Installation Utility to install network printers.

Before, using older version of the Utility, we could specify network printer name to match with one on the print server.
Thats fine.

New WinXP version of the utility, instead of using proper shared name, it picks friendly printer name (from either Server or PPD file?) and option of specifying/changing that name is not offered!
Why is that?

We need to use proper servers printer name, not friendly name, or be able to specify/change one.
I believe thats the way it should be.

Thanks,

Alex

P.S.: In case that matters for security reasons we cannot explicitly share printers (i.e. you cannot see them in Network Neighborhood). We use printers by specifying explicit known share/port and printer name.
