I use HP 7450C to scan a negative in 2400x2400 dpi. Then, in Photoshop 7.0, I resized it to 24"x36" with 600 dpi resolution in TIFF format. After spooling into HP DesignJet 500PS's RIP, a RIP error occurred during RIPing. So, I tried to reduce the resolution to 300 dpi. The result is the same. I changed the format to PSD and tried. It's the same. As I found the RIP was developed by Adobe bundled with the printer, it should be the problem bwtween Photoshop 7.0 and the RIP. This's because the image can be printed with Windows printer driver. However, you know, RIP is more useful (save jobs, color management,...). 

Anyone encounters this problem? Please help.
