I have installed the 4.2.6 PPD file  (aps426eng.exe). 

On the same page of a FrameMaker 5.5 document I have a colour illustration in WMF vector format, and three identical illustrations in bitmap format (compressed and uncompressed TIFF, and DIB). When I print the page on the HP4500 Postscript printer, and when I distill a PDF (from the saved .ps file, no compression), the WMF is printed in colour and the three bitmaps are printed in grayscale. 

Why?
