I do a lot of PDFs in A4 and other international page sizes, and am finding the default 'letter' size in the Distiller PPD very frustrating. It reverts to this default every time any other value is set in the printer options. 

Is there an international Distiller PPD or some way to set the default so it doesn't keep reverting to letter size? 

I know I can use printer styles, but I'm the sort of person who needs to check (and sometimes tweak) setting for important jobs. Just checking can sometimes cause the size to revert.
