What version of PageMaker are you using? Adobe only supports PageMaker 7 with Windows XP. Both the full Acrobat 5.0.5 product as the copy of Acrobat Distiller 5.0.5 distributed with PageMaker 7 should automatically install a PostScript driver instance labelled "Acrobat Distiller" which generates PostScript and feeds it directly to the Distiller without intervention. You should NOT be generating PostScript via any generic PostScript driver instance.
