The question actually being asked was whether real end-users have had problems or not with third party emulations of Adobe PostScript 3. If you wander through the InDesign and Acrobat forums, you will find a number of posts over the last several years telling of problems with some of these emulations. Some of the emulations are credible; others are at best very marginal when dealing with sophisticated, complex output from newer versions of Acrobat, Adobe Reader, InDesign, and Illustrator. Some of the purveyors of the "emulations" offer firmware bug fixes; others simply point fingers. - Dov
