Hi

WindowsXP pro
InDesignCS, IllustratorCS & PhotoshopCS
Acrobat6 Professional

We have an issue with some ai files placed into InDesign and then postscripted (with ADIST4.PPD) and then distilled with Acrobat6 'press qaulity' job options (with one minor tweek - Object Level Compression turned off/None).

The problem is the ai within the viewed pdf, sometimes have characters missing (normally y and z) and sometimes characters become CAPPED in the middle of a word.

For some reason selecting the text in IllustratorCS and changing the tracking to Optical helps sometimes, but not all.

I have tried this post in the Acrobat and Illustrator forum, both without much responce, making me wonder if this is a postscript issue.

Any comments welcome
Thank you
Wayne
