Hi Aandi: As Yogi said "its not over til its over". Note pad seemed to have created a PS file but in reality it was only an empty icon. Then, as sort of a baseline, I tried to make a PS in ID. (An application I dislike) ID told me that, although I installed an AGFA Advantra-44 from the XP library, there was no PS printer installed. I believe there is some sort of port problem with this machine. I will call the guys who put this thing together today. I'll let you know the outcome. BTW my old Athlon Win98 perks right along. Mike
