Come to think of it, a few years ago we heard of a problem in which the Adobe Universal PostScript Printer Driver Installer failed IF the user had also installed the driver software for a certain European ISDN modem card for their PC. The workaround was to uninstall the ISDN software, run the PostScript driver installer as many times as necessary to setup printers, and then run the ISDN software installer. The conflict seemed to be not in any Adobe code, but with the old version of the installer used for the driver (this installer supports versions of Windows back to Windows'95). This "ISDN card" problem ring a bell for anyone in this thread suffering from a failure of the installer to run properly?!? - Dov
