I just installed a printer with your copy of the INF file with
another PPD. No error appeared.

[Adobe Systems]
"Generic PostScript Printer" = DEFPRTR2.PPD

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^this is the ModelName in the PPD.
