Here is a way to install printers from command line: D:\>rundll32 printui.dll,PrintUIEntry /if /b "HP DeskJet 970Cxi" /f %windir%\inf\ntprint.inf /r "lpt1:" /m "HP DeskJet 970Cxi" Explaination here: <http://www.windows2000faq.com/Articles/Index.cfm?ArticleID=14539> Download an printer driver file from your printer manufacturer. This must be a (self extracting) archive containing the PPD file and an INF file.
