How to print to Postscript Level 1 Printers?

I have a Newgen ImagerPlus 12 Laser printer and was told that the printer is supported through the new Postscript Driver.

When I install my printer with a PPD file for my printer, I get this result:ERROR: undefined
OFFENDING COIMMAND: load

STACK:

/rectfill
/rf

can anyone give me any tips on this? Thanks a lot.
