ad 1: yes, but ... The license for the Adobe drivers up to and including NT 4 require the use of a target device that has a RIP licensed from Adobe. Starting with w2k and xp, there is a driver jointly developped by Adobe and M$ which has no such restrictions. ad 2: As the mentioned machine has a RIP licensed from Adobe, everything is ok.
