Thanks for response, but I read your reply as having the app embed the fonts in the postscript stream. According to tech. note 5640, the AdobePS driver can download a single-byte font by using the system call ESCAPE(DownLoadFace). It appears that similar options are available for downloading truetype fonts etc. Any idea where I can find documentatioon about this and any related calls Peter Hunter
