I have already confirmed that the "Delta" workstation is not compatible with the NT 5 family (Win2K & XP) which BTW we have a new Win2K Pro machine sitting idle waiting for the upgrade for our RIP ($12,000) I'm just looking for a reason why we are having problems.

The main problem is, printing from the Win98SE machine the print file then goes to the Delta RIP workstation (NT 3.5) then to the Delta RIP. At the point of recieving the print file the "Delta" Workstation actually shuts down, as in powers off.

Since AdobePS4.drv version 4.5 is the Win98 version of the NT 5 family of drivers I thought I could downgrade to 4.26 which was on the Win98SE machine before Acrobat 5 to resolve problems in outputing film from various programs.

It has been a pain in the neck to keep hounding the boss to spend the money & update to the newer "Delta" Level 3. And in the mean time be Tech support for the crippled PC in the midst of the MAC design department.

Most of my problems would go away if they would stop trying to save money & just spend it for a more productive workflow.

Thanks for the reply
