I have a Win2000 SP1 client with Acrobat 5.05 1026 2001 that cannot create postscript files. I attempted the fix suggested in the "FAQ: Fix for Problem Printing PostScript "to file" Under Windows 2000" article but my client already has a FILE: port. Got my client to delete the FILE: port and add it back in as per article instructions but still cannot create postscript files. FURTHER DETAILS: My Client can create a Postscript file from within Microsoft Word but NOT from within Microsoft Snapshot Viewer (a utility available from Microsoft for saving Access 2000 Reports to file). I am using the Snapshot Viewer OCX within my application and must save a PDF file to a specific location. In order to accomplish this in code it was necessary to use the SnapshotViewer print command (which only creates postscript files -- I then use the Distiller CreatePDF command to change the postscript file into a PDF file). Any tips, hints, fixes would be greatly appreciated.
