Under Windows 2000/XP, the PostScript drivers are distributed and officially supported by Microsoft, not Adobe, although Adobe co-developed the driver and assists Microsoft with maintanance of the driver. The LaserJet 4xxx series of printer does not use Adobe PostScript, but rather an emulation from Xionics (now Oak Technology). This emulation has been problematic in many situations. I suggest you contact Hewlett-Packard (or use any one of their self-help forums) for assistance with this problem. - Dov
