We are having issues printing graphics which are saved as vector for high resolution but the defined print screen does not capture the entier image, it appears to drop polygons which are present rather than cropping them to meet the defined print area. We suspect this is a problem with the print driver not sending this polygon. Any ideas on this?

What application?
Which printer driver?
What media size?
Does it show up with different drivers and different media sizes?

The application is a custom map publishing application which we produce (http://www.mapnetwork.com/).

The print driver is Adobe Acrobat (PDF)

Media size is 8 1/2 x 11 paper, landscape

Cropped polygons do not show up with different media or drivers. If the image is fully rendered in the print area such that the screen view is not cropping the polygon - then it will show up.

OS is Windows.

Windows XP

the polygons don't print to other print drivers (alternatives to adobe acrobat) and thus do not print on the output either.

Ok, it sounds as if you have an issue with Windows, rather than with
Adobe's PostScript printer driver (which is Adobe code only in Windows
9x). Probably worth contacting Microsoft or posting in an MSDN forum.
