My Apple Laserwriter Select 310 support Postscript Level 1 only, that I would like to use on Windows XP (professional ed.) I believe AdobePS 4.1.x is the driver that I want, only I can't find it anywhere. I've downloaded the PPD file, but of course it's no use with the current AdobePS (ver 4.2 and higher). where can i find AdobePS 4.1.x ?

also, I would like to use the PPD file on my linux machine with LPRng. How do i tell printtool about the PPD file?

thanks!!

Ritesh

AdobePS 4.1 was a driver for non-NT systems. Do not attempt to install
it on Windows XP.

You must take the driver Adobe PS 1.06. The name of the file will be
wininsteng.exe depending on your Language.

The right place to ask for lprng is lprng.org, but you should consider
to use CUPS instead since it is more modern and easier to configure.
Look at cups.org and linuxprinting.org

If CUPS is installed you copy the PPD to /usr/share/cups/model
