I am trying to convert a document to pdf online but the fonts are not supported. I have downloaded the postscript printer but keep getting errors when I send files to it. Being a newbie, I may be making a very simple mistake. Can anyone please send me step by step instructions for converting files to postscript and then pdf? Thanks in advance.

What are the errors that you are getting?
Exactly how are you trying to send files to the PostScript driver?
Please give details of your operating system (Mac, Windows, etc.), and
the applications you are using.

I'm not sure what application you're using, but any
postscript (pdf) "pseudo-"printer that I've ever installed appears
in your application's menus as an optional printer on the system's
list, and you then select that "pseudo-"printer to print to, and
off it goes. The "pseudo-"printer handles prompting for a file
location and name to store the output under.
