OS win 98.
Logitech wheel mouse supported with Logitech Mouseware
HP deskjet 1220c/ps (Adobe PS driver & PressReady))

With Mouseware installed and working, when printing to the HP1220c/ps, using the postscript driver it is only possible to print one session. When the session has finished it isn't possible to send anything else to the printer. The spooler remains open with the printed item still active, but nothing happening. It looks like the pstscript driver "hangs", because the PressReady icon remains in the systray and won't close without pressing Ctrl Alt Del. And even then it takes a long time to close. This only happens when Logitech Mouseware is operating. If I shut down Mouseware the printer works as normal and after each printing sesion the spooler closes.
Any ideas?

The Logitech software is buggy and not necessary in Windows.

I agree, for most things in Windows, Mouseware isn't really necessary. But, with some applications the mouse wheel doesn't work properly without Mouseware; Mozilla, for example, and some older applications. And it's nice to be able to use it as a middle button as well as a scroll wheel.
For the time being I have deactivated Mouseware and shall contact Logitech.
Thanks for the input.

Especially for Mozilla the Logitech driver is really unimportant.
The betty way is to look at mozdev.org for plugins like mouse
gestures.
