Hello, Is it possible to change the default printer name "Generic Postscript Printer" defined in DEFPRTRTR2.PPD in order to make appear another name as default during installation ? My need is to install programmatically the PS driver with a minimum user interaction. Users would only have to click on "Next" buttons. Thank you very much.

You should be using the actual PPD for your printer. That will have the correct name in it. The generic driver is rarely suitable for anything. Aandi Inston

The AdobePS installer is not designed for automation. To install a driver without prompts you need to prepare an INF file and use the Windows API. Aandi Inston
