Which postscript printer drivers should one use under Windows XP. I see recommendations for Windows 2000 and below, but not for XP.
Can anyone clarify?

Windows XP comes with a PostScript driver which is exactly the same as the latest version of the PostScript driver that is installed with you use the Adobe Universal PostScript Driver Installer 1.0.6. You can use the "Add Printer" wizard under printers to add drivers for most popular models of printers. If your model is listed in that wizard AND if you have the PPD file for your PostScript printer, you can use the Adobe Installer to connect your PPD with the standards Windows XP PostScript driver.

PS: Same thing is true with Windows 2003 Server!

Russ:

(1) Your posting has nothing to do with the original topic. In the future, please start a new topic in these forums for this type of question.

(2) Most current PostScript printers ignore line and angle settings in preference to proprietary internal halftoning algorithms. This is especially true with inkjet printers. Hewlett-Packard Technical Support should have been able to tell you that.
