Hi there,

We need to provide variant PPD files containing printer-specific customizations (which are reflected in the printer�s Device Settings tab).

I am able to modify �Installable Options� section by making changes to the PPD files - for example, to adjust the amount if installed RAM or specify whether finisher is installed.

However, I can�t seem to find a way to modify �Font Substitution Table� section � for example, to adjust �Sent CTRL-D After Each Job� (set No) or to ensure that �Output Protocol� is ASCII.

Any ideas on how can I do that?

There's nowhere in a PPD for some of those options, because they are
driver internals. But other things may come from the printer protocols
listed in the PPD e.g. if the printer only supports ASCII protocol,
the driver will hopefully not offer any other.
