Hello all, Encountered a bizarre issue that seems related to varying levels of PS; I created a Word (XP) Template under Windows 9x. In the Page Setup, I defined Page 1 to come from Tray 4 and Other Pages to Tray 1. Saved Template and exit. Then I boot Windows 2000 or XP, load the same Word XP and open the same document template. Going into the Page Setup, the trays have now changed to Tray 3 & Bypass. (?) A similar phenomenon occurs from templates created under 2000/XP and opened under Win9x. However, tray calls remain intact as long as the template is opened under the same OS in which it was created. This only occurs with PostScript printers (as opposed to PCL). The only difference I can tell is that Win9x uses PS version 4.5.3 while 2000/XP uses 5.02, so I assume this is what causes the discrepancy. I have tried to load the same PS version on both platforms, but it does not seem possible. Does anyone have a miracle solution to use a single template for multiple OS's and maintain tray calls intact? Thanks in advance! Kevin ksargent@ricoh.ca
