I'm wondering if it's okay or not to e-mail the Acrobat Distiller PPD to someone who does not have Acrobat. There are numerous PPDs freely available in the downloads section, but not that one.

Although strictly speaking a component of Acrobat, the software police will not go after you if you are mailing it to someone such that they can produce the correct PostScript for use with Distiller. - Dov

You know, it might be a good idea to put it in the downloads section. If you trash yours and don't have a backup, you may not know how to dig through a CD to find it, and may be hesitant or may not want to do a new install.
