Is it possible to eliminate page borders for n-up printing?

In an earlier version of Adobe PS driver installation there was a check box in an area of printer setup that allowed the user to eliminate page borders for 2-up, 4-up, etc. printing. Now it no longer seems to be available and n-up printing always prints a light line page border around individual pages that have been combined on one sheet. Does anyone know anything about this? Thanks.

Yes, this "feature" only exists on the AdobePS 8.x versions for Macintosh and the AdobePS 4.x versions for Windows'9x/Me. The AdobePS 5.x drivers for Window NT 4 and the PSCRIPT5 drivers for Windows 2000/XP unfortunately do not provide an option for the border. It is unconditionally there.

Thank you for your response. Are there any workarounds: perhaps a simple command to delete in the PS file? Is there an update to the AdobePS 5.x drivers in the works that may allow for the option again?

No single command.

The AdobePS 5.x drivers for Windows NT 4 are pretty much functionally stabilized at this point.

Stanford,
If you have Acrobat handy, then you can create a pdf file and purchase Quite
Imposing which can handle borderless n-up printing with no problem. However,
it does come with a cost attached. Personally, I find Quite Imposing to be a
handy little utility.
