I'm running Windows NT and I thought my problem was just with Quark 5.0. But when I create a PDF from a document (MSWORD 97 even) containing ARIAL NARROW font, it's substituted with COURIER font and the letters are overlapping. ARIAL NARROW ITALICS, BOLD and BOLD + ITALICS is fine. I even reinstalled the font. Any insight and suggestions are most appreciated. Thanks, Judith

Be sure you aren't distilling an EPS file, which will always do this. Print to the Distiller printer instead. Aandi Inston
