I am trying to print color .ps files. (Not PDF files). When I set up a local printer to file and use the Generic driver, I get no color. Without purchasing an application, where can I find a color postscript driver to use for this purpose?

Don't use the generic driver for any real printer; use the correct named driver for your printer. Aandi Inston

PostScript files are device dependent, that is, they need to be adapted for the target printer. Even if you don't have that printer yourself, you must create PS for a specific printer. Use the driver for that printer. -- /Thomas Michanek, FrameMaker/UNIX/MIF expert Technical Communicator, Uppsala, Sweden http://go.to/framers/

>I don't have a printer. I am printing to a file. But eventually you're sending it to a printer, right? So that is the driver you use. Aandi Inston
